LIT pigment testing. Super satisfying results!
The idea here is to drive an led onto a spinning disk of glow pigments. You can see it kind of has a delay on the decay. I have an ongoing research project on using spinning disks inside audio devices.

Here is a schematic showing the ICs used in the PSS-100. We recently modded one to add pre/post power amp outputs. Jess also routed the beep so that the audio outputs remain cleaner but the speaker still has the beep if needed.
