I am always on the lookout for interesting and strange tools. But a recent find is actually helping me with a current project involving some hard to reach small screws in a clock body. More on that soon.
This find is a Vaco Products Company screw launcher #K-21. But what is a screw launcher?

NUT DRIVERS, SCREW LAUNCHERS & SPECIALTY TOOLS
A screw launcher is a form of screw holding that works by means of a simple push-pull motion of a sliding aluminum sleeve. This motion Expands and releases a set of Spring-steel blades that grip the screw. Here is one in an animation showing the blades. The only part missing is the *pocket clip but that does not hurt the launchers functionality.

Thanks for letting me share this with you and please take care of each other.
